I would like it if all configurations, e.g. screens, schemes, custom fields, etc. could be set up on a Category Basis.

      Everytime a new product is added I have to remember all the things to do to get it set up with configurations, contexts, custom fields, etc. It would save a lot of time setting things up everytime a new product is introduced if it could be done once within a Category. Then I should be able to copy the Category to create a new one, and all of its settings would be carried over.

      I understand the benefits of having product and issue level configuration flexibility - so that should remain as is and would override the Category settings.

      How about it?
