As discussed for confluence (CONF-8046 and USER-105), we really need the ability in Jira to dynamically populate groups from LDAP attributes. Today, we have to manage a large number of static groups to map the need of the different teams (depending on the projects, roles and regions), while our Systems engineers are already doing that job for corporate systems.
