Hmmm...I've got some bad news to report... looks like a big fat bug in issueType migration.
I am moving a project from an IssueTypeScheme to a new IssueTypeScheme which has fewer types. So therefore I need to migrate type.
I looked closely this morning at my selections in the migrate issues screen for a project.
There were three issue types that were migrating... but the "summary screen" was incorrect.
I selected this:
Action Item --> Task
Enhancement --> Improvement
Requirement --> New Feature
I verified and checked this TWICE!
The verification summary had the list reversed:
Action Item --> New Feature
Enhancement --> Improvement
Requirement --> Task
It was a small project, with only 9 issue, so I did a screengrab before...and then hit "Finish" to migrate, thinking maybe the summary display was incorrect, but it would Do the Right Thing. No such luck.
The "after" screenshot did exactly what the summary said it would do...which is NOT what I wanted to happen. I had to manually fix the issues. ![]()
Is this a known bug in Jira 3.6.5???
