My company uses JIRA to do issue tracking for software development projects. We use JIRA both internally (development process) and externally (customer testing). Often the Security Level of issues is set to 'None' when creating issues for the development process. After some time the customer needs te be given access to the JIRA project, at which point we need to correct the issue security level to hide some issues (for various reasons).
To edit the security level for closed issues, we have to reopen the issue, change the issue, resolve the issue and then close it again. When resolving the issue, the original resolution is lost if we do this in a bulk change (always).
So we really want to change the security level of (closed) issues without having to reopen them. A bulk change to set the security level of issues would solve this problem.
