As a Project Manager I find the Version Workload Report quite useful however it suffers from some limitations:

1 - it assumes that ALL issues in the version are in the same active 'state' which in our organisation are based on a custom field.
2 - if a 'Project' encompasses more than one project in jira multiple reports need to be run

We use a filters to be able to list issues according to the state they are in across projects as necessary, however, the Version Workload Report doesn't allow Filters to be used to filter down the contents of the report.

Please can either the Version Workload Report pick up filters from the user's filter list as well as the versions and to create the same output, or a new report be created that results in the same output?
