I would like to use JIRA not only for bugs/SPRs but also to track Actions, Change Requests, Non Conformance Reports, Review Item Discrepancies i.e. a number of different "issue" that have reason to exist in a medium/large IT project.
I have configured such different issues , each one with special fields. Fine.
Nowadays, as far as I understood, the "identifier" of the issue is "unique per project".
Would it be possible to configure a project to have it "unique per issue" ?
Is this feature a possible "improvement" in JIRA system roadmap?
At the end, issue idenfier might be configured as <projectid><issue type><autoinc numeric field>, such as "JRA-BUG-7777", "JRA-TSK-7777", "JRA-CHR-7777" and so on. maybe to clean it up, one should fix the leght of the first two field, as an example, to 3 digits.
This would have benefit also on the "RoadMap" view where now imporvement and bugs are not distiguishable by the name (see screeenshot)
