Actual Results
The “Create work item” button within the dates present in calendar section are inappropriately nested inside the element containing tag. In fact, the mention element does not have unique functionality. This might disadvantage the keyboard-only and screen reader users That elements are nested together may confuse or mislead them.
Expected Results
Make sure that the interactive elements are used appropriately. In this scenario, the mentioned element does not have unique functionality. As the button element would be sufficient. Hence, replace the nested element with the neutral span or
element. So that the element receives tab focus only once and that is technically appropriate and correct.
Note: This code example is intended only as a general illustration of how to address the violation and should not be considered a complete or production-ready solution. If you have any questions, please attach this ticket to a #help-accessibility request.
