Issue Summary
The browser screen shakes or flickers back and forth when the subtask status is updated.
Note: The issue is not consistently reproducible. We tested it across our Jira test environments, but could not reproduce the issue at our end. However, the issue is reproducible in the customer’s Jira environment.
Note from Customer: This flickering/shaking of screen is also observed during manual automation triggering for multiple sub-task creation and then changing status from Parent ticket view page
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the Jira cloud homepage.
- Select any space from the side navigation.
- Navigate to and activate any issue.
- Navigate onto the subtasks section in the parent ticket screen.
- Try changing the status of any subtask using mouse pointer or keyboard.
- Observe that the screen shakes or flickers back and forth.
Actual Results
When updating the status of a subtask from the Parent ticket screen, the browser screen unexpectedly shakes or flickers back and forth.
This causes visual discomfort and makes it difficult for users to navigate and interact with the page, particularly for users sensitive to motion.
Expected Results
The browser screen should remain stable without any unexpected shaking, flickering or scrolling when updating the subtask status.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
