Problem
Jira Cloud for Slack displays invite and access-request prompts when a user without Jira access opens a Jira link. There is currently no separate Jira Slack or Slack workspace setting to disable these prompts while keeping the integration enabled. The only available option is to disable the entire integration, which also removes other Slack functionality.
Proposed Solution
Add an administrator-controlled setting at the Jira site or organization level to disable invite and access-request prompts generated by the Jira Cloud for Slack integration. This setting should prevent users from initiating access requests through Slack while leaving other Jira Slack features enabled.
Use Case
Organizations that centrally manage Jira access may intentionally disable self-service invitations and access requests. These organizations still want users to use Jira Cloud for Slack to view and collaborate on Jira links, but need to prevent the integration from presenting an alternative access-request path that bypasses their access-management process.
