Currently, Jira Cloud does not record audit log events when Issue Link Types are created, modified, or deleted in Jira Administration or updated in Jira Plans Dependency Settings .

When issue link types are unexpectedly removed or changed, site administrators and support teams have no visibility into who performed the action, when it occurred, or what specific configurations were altered. This creates compliance gaps and makes root-cause analysis difficult during configuration troubleshooting.

Steps to Replicate

1. Navigate to Jira Settings > Issues > Issue Linking.
2. Delete, modify, or add an issue link type.
3. Navigate to Jira Settings > System > Audit Log (or Org-level Audit Logs).
4. Search for audit log records capturing the deletion, modification, or user details for that issue link type change.
