Issue summary: Native Jira Cloud Formula-type custom fields (the field type introduced via CHANGE-2714) are not returned under renderedFields in the Jira Search/JQL REST API. Their values appear only in the .fields section of the response as raw numbers, with no formatting metadata. As a result, numeric and duration Formula fields can only be displayed as plain numbers, and API consumers cannot reproduce the formatted presentation (for example currency or duration) that Jira shows natively in the UI. This blocks Marketplace apps (such as Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards) from displaying formula field values consistently with Jira.
Steps to reproduce:
- In Jira Cloud, create a Formula-type custom field configured with a numeric or duration output and a specific format (for example, Duration formatted as Days).
- Ensure the field calculates a value on an issue.
- Call the Search REST API (GET /rest/api/3/search/jql) with expand=renderedFields.
- Inspect the response for the formula custom field.
Expected results: The formula custom field is present under renderedFields with its formatted, user-facing value (matching what Jira displays in the issue/list view), so numeric and duration formula values can be rendered with their configured formatting.
Actual results: Under renderedFields, the formula custom field value is null. The value is present only in .fields as a raw number with no formatting information, so the formatted representation cannot be reproduced by API consumers.
Workaround: No known workaround. The raw value in .fields lacks the formatting metadata needed to render numeric/duration formula fields correctly.
