      Issue Summary

On an English Jira site, the Jira Work Management (JWM) Category field is permanently named using the admin's language preference when the first JWM project is created by an admin whose profile language is set to a non-English locale.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. On an English Jira Cloud site, ensure at least one admin account has its profile language set to a non-English locale (e.g., German).
      2. Log in as that admin and create the first JWM (Business) project on the site.
      3. Log out and log back in as any user (including an English-preference admin or a standard user).
      4. Navigate to any JWM project board or issue view and observe the Category field name.
      5. Attempt to rename the field via Project Settings → Fields or Site Administration → Custom Fields.

      Expected Results

The Category field should display its name according to the site's default language (English), regardless of the language preference of the admin who created the first JWM project. Admins should be able to rename or correct the field name if it is incorrectly set.

      Actual Results

The field is displayed with the localized name derived from the creating admin's language preference across the entire tenant, affecting all users and all JWM projects. The field is locked and cannot be renamed or translated, leaving no way to correct the display name.

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
