Improve Jira Cloud Excel Export to include visual formatting and metadata parity with Jira Data Center

      Problem Statement:
Enterprise customers migrating from Jira Data Center to Jira Cloud have noted a significant regression in the visual quality and "readiness" of exported filter results. In Jira Data Center, the Excel export (HTML-based) provides a formatted report that can be shared immediately. In Jira Cloud, the native CSV export provides raw data only, requiring manual formatting before it can be used in meetings or shared via email.

      Requested Improvement:
Enhance the native Excel export functionality in Jira Cloud to provide a "formatted report" experience that matches the legacy Data Center standard.

      Specific Parity Requirements:

      • Report Header/Metadata: Include a pre-header section above the data table that displays the Site Name and the Organization Logo (custom logo).
      • Issue Statistics: Include a summary line above the table header stating: "Displaying X issues at [Current Date/Time]".
      • Table Styling:
        • Headers: Column headers should be styled with bold text, centered alignment, and distinct borders.
        • Gridlines/Borders: The exported table should include visible cell borders and appropriate spacing/padding for readability.
        • Visual Formatting: Support for basic table styles (e.g., alternating row colors) to ensure the file is "presentation-ready" immediately upon export.

      Use Case:
Users need to be able to export a query and immediately share the file via email or during live Microsoft Teams/Zoom meetings without performing manual cleanup (adding borders, bolding headers, or manually typing the issue count).
