      Issue Summary

Currently, the Insights panel and the Reports view on Jira Software boards (e.g., .../boards/ID/reports) use a fixed, system-defined color palette (typically Blue, Green, and Purple) to visualize data segments.

These colors are not aligned with the standard Jira Status Category colors (Grey for To Do, Blue for In Progress, Green for Done). Furthermore, the same palette is used for non-status data (like Assignees or Priorities), and there is currently no way for a Jira Admin to modify these colors or set them to "Respect Status Category Colors."

      Impact:
This creates a significant cognitive load and confusion for users. For example, a user may see a "Done" segment colored Blue in an Insight chart, while the "Done" lozenge on their board is Green. This inconsistency reduces the immediate readability and appeal of these otherwise highly modular reports.

      Suggested Solution:

      1. Provide a configuration setting within the Insights/Reports view to manually assign colors to specific data segments (Statuses, Assignees, etc.).
      1. Provide a toggle to "Respect Status Category Colors" so that charts automatically align with the lozenge colors defined in the project workflow.
