Problem:

Individual Capacity Planning (ICP) currently limits the planning horizon to approximately 6 months from today. For example, as of July 28, 2026, users cannot plan past ~January 17, 2027. This limitation is not documented anywhere.

Impact:

Organizations that need to plan resource allocation for longer-term projects (9–12+ months out) are forced to fall back to external tools or spreadsheets, the exact problem ICP was built to solve. This reduces the value of the feature and may prevent adoption by teams doing annual or multi-quarter capacity planning.

Request:

Allow users to configure or extend the planning horizon in Individual Capacity Planning beyond 6 months. Ideally, users should be able to plan at least 12 months ahead. At minimum, the 6-month limit should be clearly documented.

Use case:

People managers want to plan individual capacity allocations 9–12 months in advance so that they can forecast resource needs for upcoming projects and avoid over-allocation without relying on external tools.
