Issue Summary

When sharing a Jira work item with a Team, none of the team members receive in-app notifications, even though sharing with individual users or groups works correctly. The share action completes without any error, making the failure silent. This impacts team collaboration as members are unaware of shared work items.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open any Jira work item (e.g., a Story, Bug, or Task).
2. Click the Share option on the issue.
3. In the recipient field, search for and select a Team (Atlassian Team).
4. Add an optional message and click Send.
5. Check the in-app notifications of the team members.
6. None of them will receive the notification

Expected Results

All members of the selected Team should receive the in-app notification with the shared work item details.

Actual Results

No team members receive any in-app notifications in this situation. No error is shown to the user — the share action appears to complete successfully.

Workaround

Share the work item with individual users or groups instead of Teams until this issue is resolved.
