Currently, email audit logs in Jira Cloud are split across three separate locations depending on the notification type and project type:
- Admin email audit (/jira/settings/system/notification-logs): site-wide view covering non-issue admin notifications (invites, bulk emails, share actions). Accessible only to site admins.
- Project email audit (Project Settings > Notifications > Space Email Audit): covers issue-related notification suppressions in Jira Software/Work Management projects. Scoped per project.
- JSM Email logs (Service project sidebar > Email logs): covers JSM customer-facing notification failures and inbound email processing in JSM service projects. Scoped per project.
For organizations where a small team manages all email flows across Jira and JSM, navigating to each individual project to review email logs is tedious and time-consuming — especially as the number of projects grows.
Proposed Solution
Provide a system-wide email log page accessible to global/site admins that aggregates email audit data from all sources (admin notifications, Jira project notifications, and JSM customer notifications) in a single view, without removing the existing per-project scoped views.
