Issue Summary
When a user triggers a Rovo agent or "Ask Rovo" from within the description field of the Jira "Create Issue" modal, the Rovo chat interface renders behind the creation modal. This prevents the user from seeing or interacting with the Rovo agent while they are trying to fill out the issue details.
Steps to Reproduce
- Click Create in the Jira top navigation to open the "Create Issue" modal.
- Click into the Description field.
- Trigger a Rovo agent (e.g., via the "Ask Rovo" menu).
- Observe that the Rovo chat window opens but is obscured by the Jira modal.
Expected Results
The Rovo interface should have a higher z-index than the "Create Issue" modal to allow for side-by-side interaction or overlay.
Actual Results
The Rovo modal/overlay is hidden behind the Jira "Create" dialog. Users cannot use Rovo agents to assist in writing descriptions during the initial creation of an issue, which is a primary use case for Rovo.
Workaround
- Minimize the Create Modal: Users can minimize the "Create Issue" screen. This allows the Rovo modal to become active and accessible.
- Post-Creation Edit: If the "Create Issue" screen does not allow for minimization (due to specific field configurations), users can temporarily create the issue with minimal details, then open the issue and use the "Edit" view. In the full issue view or sidebar, the Rovo agent/chat functions correctly.
