Issue Summary

Currently, a Jira Software form can use all work types in its space. As per our documentation:

When you create a form, you need to select which type of work item will be created in your space when a form is submitted (for example, Task).

Each work type includes different form field options, depending on the information you want to collect. You will be able to select any work type from within your space, except for subtasks.

Suggestion

Some workflows may only allow one or a few work types. It would be great if it were possible to setup which work types can be used in Jira Software forms.

Workaround

The only workaround as of now is to completely remove the work item types from projects where you’d like to restrict project administrators from using those in forms.
