Description

Increase the current ADF size limit (1MB) so users can reliably create/update comments and multi-line text fields containing rich formatting (tables, lists, panels, etc.) without unexpected failures caused by ADF JSON overhead.

ADF-enabled rich text content in Jira is currently constrained by limits that are easy to hit unintentionally because they are applied to the entire underlying ADF JSON, not the visible text a user perceives they are entering.

Current behavior

• Users can hit a limit (e.g., the 32,767 character cap referenced in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-95408) because the cap is applied to the full ADF JSON representation, not just rendered/visible text.
• Jira Cloud rejects create/update requests when the body in ADF exceeds 1MB.

Suggestion

Increase the maximum allowed ADF size.
