Issue Summary

According to the official documentation at Delete an attachment in a work item, attachment(s) that are uploaded through a field or comment can only be deleted by editing the field/comment and deleting it:

If the attachment was added to the work item by a comment or field, you can’t delete it from the attachment panel. If that’s the case, find the field or comment the attachment was added to and delete it from there.

Deleting a comment with an attachment removes the attachment from the whole work item. If someone has copied the attachment from one comment to another, it will also delete from the second comment.

It would be easier for users to delete the attachment(s) from the attachment panel of a Jira work item instead of navigating to the field/comment, editing it and deleting it there.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to a Jira work item
2. Add an attachment through a comment or a text field
3. Observe that the attachment can't be deleted from the attachment panel
4. The attachment can be deleted when editing the comment/text field by removing it

Expected Results

Ability to delete the attachment(s) from the attachment panel of a Jira work item

Actual Results

The attachment(s) can only be deleted by editing the field/comment

Workaround

By design, edit the field/comment and remove the attachment.
