Service desk problems repair tool should reflect system account and not user when repairing permisisons

      Summary

      When you access any page of a Service Desk Project that have system roles removed or renamed , you get this warning

      This service desk project has configuration problems and may not work as expected.

      • View error details and repair the problem*

      When you click on the link, the system role gets recreated and propagated across all project permission schemes with the current user name .

      Same thing happens when a customer creates new service project or perform any action that causes system roles to be recreated and propogated across project schemes.

       

      Expected Results

      When clicking on the view errors details and repair the problem button button , the system user name like Jira-adminstrator or Jira should be capture din audit logs instead of actual user.

      Actual Results

      The curret user logged into project or performing action ,this user's userid gets captured in. logs causibg admins to think of it as security breach specially when the user is not actively using JSM.

       

      Workaround

      • Currently there is no workaround for this behaviour.
