Issue Summary

The keyboard focus is not visible on the Status options To Do, In Progress and Done in Windows high contrast mode.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the Jira Cloud home page.
2. Navigate to any project and open any issue.
3. Enable Windows High Contrast mode: Settings -> Accessibility -> Contrast themes -> select any theme such as Aquatic, Desert, Dusk or Night sky.
4. Return to the issue view, navigate to the Status button and activate it.
5. Use the arrow keys to move through the status options To Do, In Progress and Done.
6. Observe that the keyboard focus is not visible on the status options in high contrast mode.

Actual Results

In Windows High Contrast mode, the focus indicator for dropdown options within the issue view is not visible. When navigating options such as To Do, In Progress, and Done, users are unable to determine which option currently has focus.

This lack of visual feedback makes it difficult for users who rely on high contrast and keyboard navigation to identify the focused element and correctly select or change the status.

Expected Results

When users access the page in high contrast mode, all interactive elements must have a visible focus indicator. A clear, high-contrast outline should appear around each interactive element to assist visually impaired users with navigation.

In this case, when navigating through the status options, each available option should display a visible focus so users can accurately change the status.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
