Issue Summary

Recently, Atlassian announced a new development panel layout, and while those changes are positive, especially beneficial for performance improvements.

Some users would like to keep the old interface; one of the main reasons is that in the new panel, it is not possible to pin the field as it was previously, which can mislead some users.  

Suggestion

Allow users to opt out of the new UI; it could be a user-level or site-level setting, if possible. 

Workaround

There is no known workaround for this behavior.
