Issue Summary

When an work item is cloned to another project using Jira Automation, "@"mentioning a user in the cloned work item does not trigger a notification in Slack via the "Jira Cloud for Slack" app.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create automation rule which clones work item to another space

• • Trigger: Manual trigger
  • Action: Clone work item to space A

1. Trigger the above automation rule from another space B, work item is created to space A
2. In cloned work item, @ mention to the user who use "Jira Cloud for Slack" app and setting receive notification when mentioned.
3. The user is not received about @ mention

Expected Results

The mentioned user should receive a notification in "Jira Cloud for Slack" app

Actual Results

No Slack notification is sent to the mentioned user when they are mentioned in the cloned issue.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
