Currently, Jira does not natively support rendering mathematical formulas using standard notation such as LaTeX. As a result, users who need to document equations, formulas, or mathematical expressions are required to create them externally and attach them to work items as images.

Providing native LaTeX-based rendering support would allow users to add mathematical expressions directly within work items, eliminating the need for external tools and screenshots, and significantly improving documentation clarity and usability.
