Problem
Currently, system notification emails about Atlassian App interest do not include the full name of the Atlassian User making the request. The notification typically only displays an icon (which may not be helpful) and sometimes a first name, but not the full name or a clickable profile link.
Suggested Solution
Update the app interest notification emails to always include the full name of the Atlassian User who initiated the request.
For example:
"Hey XYZ, Katie Johnson wants you to start a Service Collection trial."
Ensure the full name is present in the email content for clear identification.
Why This Is Important
Including the full name provides a clear breadcrumb for recipients to identify and respond to the requesting user. This is especially valuable in organizations with many users, where avatars and first names alone are insufficient for identification.
It enhances communication, accountability, and the overall user experience by facilitating easier follow-up on requests.
Workaround
Currently, recipients must manually investigate to determine the full identity of the requester, such as searching by first name or avatar within the organization directory. This is time-consuming and not always reliable, especially if multiple users share similar names or avatars.
