Issue Summary
If you have an work item in a plan with an archived version, the work in your plan says the work item was removed in your plan, it doesn’t show the archived versions.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Plan to source work items from Project A
- Create work item in the Project A with a fix version
- Archive this fix version
Expected Results
Plan should show this work item under the removed work item configuration in the Plan setting.
Actual Results
Removed work item doesn't show archive work items in the list
Workaround
Please follow our official troubleshooting documentation to fix this problem:
Work items that are part of archived releases will be excluded from your timeline. There are two ways to fix this.
One is to reschedule work items from an archived release to an active one.
Alternatively, you can unarchive the release:
- From the Projects dropdown menu, select your project, then Releases from the left side menu.
- Using the dropdown menu next to the search bar, include Archived releases in your view.
- Lastly, use the menu on the right to Unarchive your release.
You may either unarchive the release or use another release that is not archived.
