Issue Summary

Unable to link an epic with its child issues in a Company-managed Software project using the old experience "CSV import" from the External System Import.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create the CSV with Epic, Task issues

issue type,issue key,status,summary,issue id,parent
Epic,test-125,To Do,Epic-1201,3, 
Story,test-127,To Do,story,5,3

1. Move to System > External System import
2. Switch to the old experience
3. Start the CSV import process
4. Map at least these fields to themselves ”Work item Id”, ”Parent” and ”Work type".
5. After the import, it throws an error

Expected Results

Epic and Task issues should be linked in a parent-child relationship

Actual Results

Epic and Task issues are not linked in a parent-child relationship

Below error is received:

"Cannot add value [ Work item ] to CustomField [XXX-NN] in Epic Link with summary 'task01-1'. Probably value was in incorrect format."

Workaround

Without switching to the old experience, use the new import experience for CSV import to bring data into a new company-managed space. After the import, use the bulk move to the existing space.
