504 Stream Timeout error when exporting work items with many fields via Jira Cloud for Excel

      Issue Summary

      We are encountering a "504 stream timeout" error when using the "Jira Cloud for Excel" integration. This issue occurs when attempting to export work items that include a large number of fields in the export. The process fails to complete, resulting in a 504 timeout error.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to the Jira filter and filter the necessary work items. 
      2. Click on the Apps option in the UI and click on "Open in Microsoft Excel"
      3. Click "Excel on Desktop" 
      4. And wait for the download to begin.

      Expected Results

      The export should complete successfully, and all selected data should be available in Excel.

      Actual Results

      The export fails with a "504 stream timeout" error after waiting for several minutes.

      Workaround

       Breaking down imports into smaller batches and merging the sheets in Excel.
