This feature would function similarly to the confirmation prompt encountered when deleting a work item directly from the work item view. The proposed pop-up would require users to type the word "delete" in order to proceed with the deletion. This additional step would help prevent accidental deletions and ensure that users are making a conscious choice to remove the item from their list view.
