Issue Summary

When a Jira Dashboard Pie chart Gadget is configured to display issues grouped by Issue Type across both Company-Managed and Team-Managed projects, identically named issue types “Task” appears twice.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create two projects — one Company-Managed and one Team-Managed.
2. Ensure both projects have an issue type Task.
3. Create at least one issue in each project using the “Task” issue type.
4. Go to a Jira Dashboard, add a Pie Chart Gadget, and set it to display data grouped by Issue Type using a filter that includes both projects.

Expected Results

Only one “Task” issue type should appear in the Pie Chart gadget, with all “Task” issues (from both project types) aggregated under it.
If merging is not feasible, the gadget should visually differentiate them (e.g., “Task – Company-Managed” and “Task – Team-Managed”) to avoid confusion.

Actual Results

Two “Task” entries appear in the Pie Chart gadget. One corresponding to the Team-Managed issue type and one to the Company-Managed issue type.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
