On a board (such as CMP Kanban), each board column will show the total number of Work Items in that column at the top of the board.
However, due to a new change recently, if you click up the top right of the board to "Group" by something like "Epic", the board will no longer show the total number of Work Items at the very top of the column. Instead, swimlanes are present (such as, by each Epic) and each swimlane will have a total number of Work Items specific to that Epic.
For example, you have a column with a total of 10 Work Items in it, of which 5 belong to "Epic 1" and 5 belong to" Epic 2". If there is no grouping in the board, the column will show as having 10 Work Items (up the top of the column). But then if you "Group" by "Epic", then the only totals that are displayed are "5" under "Epic 1" and "5" under "Epic 2". There is no longer a mention of "10".
This Suggestion is to change the behaviour so that the column will always show the total number of all Work Items within a column at the top.
I've added an attachment showing an example of no cumulative total being present at the top of a column.
