At my company, we usually create a story with multiple sub-tasks.  Whenever the sub-tasks move from column (status) to another these are kept together, the story or a story header appears at the top followed by the sub-tasks slightly indented under the story.

My suggestion is for the ability to click on an icon on the story to hide / collapse all the sub-tasks under the story.

This will make easier to review other stories within the same status (applies to Kanban board).

• TASK-1 -  abc

• TASK-2 - def

Click on the icon next to STORY-123 ()

After collapsing:

STORY-123: Story - xyz
