Issue Summary

In the old navigation experience, 'Your work  >> Recent project' shows the last accessed board, but in the new experience, this no longer happens.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Access any Jira board ID=46(for around ~20 sec or interact on the board in the Old navigation experience.
   
2. Now, check 'Your work' page for recent projects >> redirected to the last accessed board, which is BoardId=46
   
3. To replicate the problem. Turn on 'New navigation' from Personal settings>> Jira labs. Perfrom the same steps to access any board (example board Id=150)
   
4. Now, check 'Your work' page for recent projects >> It's not showing the last project board.
   

Expected Results

New navigation should display the recently accessed project board under Your Work.

Actual Results

 The most recently visited board does not save, but loads one specific board.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
