Issue Summary
The customer sets a maximum attachment size of 350 KB in Jira (cloud), but users are able to upload files larger than 800 KB, indicating a potential bug or misconfiguration.
Steps to Reproduce
- In JSM, go to Settings -> System -> Attachment
- Set the attachment size to 350Kb (by clicking on "edit the settings")
- Click on the update button - this will change the attachment size to 350Kb
- Now upload an attachment larger than 350Kb in JSM e.g .go to a project
- Open an issue you want to attach a file to
- Look for attachments and browse to select the file.
- Load a file larger than 350Kb and SAVE the issue.
Expected Results
This should not be allowed
Actual Results
The issue can be saved with no problem and the attachment larger than 350Kb is now attached into the issue
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behaviour. A workaround will be added here when available.
