Currently, Jira cloud does not provide a way to track the history of comment edits or deletions. The History tab on an issue only includes changes to issue fields (for example, status, assignee), but does not record any information when a comment is edited or deleted, nor does it indicate who made these changes.

Suggested Solution:
Implement a feature that captures and displays comment edit and deletion history within the issue view, or via the audit log. Ideally, this would include:

• Timestamps of edits or deletions

• The user who performed the action

• The previous version(s) of the comment content
