Issue Summary
There is an inconsistency regarding the visibility of the priority field.
Users are encountering an issue where the priority field remains visible in linked work items and on the board, even though it has been hidden in the field configuration and removed from the issue screens.
Steps to Reproduce
- Hide the Priority field in the project field configuration and remove it from the issue screens.
- Create two issues: IssueA and IssueB.
- Link IssueB to IssueA, along with any other older issue.
- On the IssueA screen, observe that the linked IssueB does not display the Priority field, while the older issue still does.
- Additionally, check the project board and all work item list; issues created after the configuration changes will not show the Priority field, whereas older issues will continue to display it.
Expected Results
Once the Priority field is hidden from the field configuration and removed from the screen, it should not appear in the issue view.
Actual Results
We are experiencing inconsistencies with the visibility of the Priority field. It remains visible in linked issues, all work items list and on the board.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
