Improvements to the new "Create custom project" endpoint

      Issue Summary

      The new experimental endpoint "Create custom project" introduced new options for creating projects, but it could benefit from some improvements that would make the end user experience easier. 

      Suggestion

      1. The ability to simply refer to the template project and all related settings would be fetched and used in the new project. 
        • Currently, you must fill out all project-related fields. It would be way easier if the endpoint could fetch those from a single project ID reference.
      2. The ability to simply refer to a board to be copied, along with all related settings, would be fetched and used in the new project. 
        • Currently, you must fill out all board-related fields. It would be way easier if the endpoint could fetch those from a single board ID reference.
      3. The ability to set the filter owner and share/edit permissions while using this endpoint. 
        • It would be handy to be able to set the new filter owner and permissions if needed when using this endpoint. 

      Workaround

      • For suggestions 1 and 2, simply fill out all the required fields. 
      • For suggestion 3, there are no workarounds thus far. You would need to update the filter owner/permissions after its creation.
