Issue Summary
According to our official documentation, it's currently impossible to include archived releases and its issues in a plan:
Work items that are part of archived releases will be excluded from your timeline. There are two ways to fix this.
One is to reschedule work items from an archived release to an active one.
Alternatively, you can unarchive the release:
- From the Projects dropdown menu, select your project, then Releases from the left side menu.
- Using the dropdown menu next to the search bar, include Archived releases in your view.
- Lastly, use the menu on the right to Unarchive your release.
You may either unarchive the release or use another release that is not archived.
Suggestion
- There should be an option to make archived releases available under the plan settings—a flag or something similar to make issues with the archived release version visible in the plan.
Workaround
If you want to include archived releases in a plan, currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. You either unarchive the release or use another one that's not archived.
