The new User Interface has made the Category field's color representation difficult to read, particularly in Dark Mode where some colors are not visible. 

In the old navigation, the field was show with a color solid background, and in the new navigation only a colored outline.

The same applies to work type icons, as they were solid and now just line-contoured.
