Consistency between the Quick and Basic Search

      Problem Definition

When you're performing a Quick search, Jira uses the operator "textFields" while the Basic Search uses the "text" operator as default. The "textfields" operator in JQL does not search within comments. It is designed to search across a predefined set of text fields, excluding comments. This is in contrast to the "text" operator, which includes comments in its search scope.

In summary, while both operators are used for searching text, "text" is more general and searches across a wide range of fields, whereas "textfields" might be used in specific contexts or configurations to search across a predefined set of fields (Summary and Description).

      Suggested Solution

It would be great to have consistency between the Quick and Basic Search since this would avoid confusion when users try to search on Jira.
