Every time I add a new user or group to a project an email is sent out to the user to join the project. How can I disable this email from being sent from our instance. We don't want users to get these emails every time they are added to projects, team-managed and company-managed.

I do not have an option for "email notifications for specific events, such as adding a user to the project" in any notification scheme or personal settings

I am the site administrator and the user has already been in Jira and has access to multiple projects. I added myself to a new project Epic eConsents and I received this email notification. Yesterday I added a user to the Epic Regression and she also received this email notification. I don't understand why we are getting all of these notification emails all of sudden. I never received this message previously when I added myself or another user to a Jira project.

Finally, I could not find any documentation regarding this anywhere.
