Issue Summary

Jira notification in MS Teams is not controlled by project notification scheme.

Jira notification  are received in MS Teams however they are disable on the project project by:

1. Having notification scheme set to None
2. Having Notification scheme  restricting the recipients

Steps to Reproduce

Scenario 1: Notification scheme set to None:

1. Select project > Project settings > Under Notifications >settings> Actions> Set Scheme to “None” > Associate

      2. Create Work Item from Project.
      3. MS Team receives a notification.

Scenario 2: Restrict Notification from Notification scheme

1. Create a Notification scheme from Settings > Issues> Notification Schemes > Add Notification Scheme
2. Notification Scheme will have no recipients configured

     3. Associate Notification Scheme with Project. Select project > Project settings > Under Notifications >settings> Actions> Select at Scheme > Select Scheme you created> Associate
     4. Test creating work Item
     5. MS Team receives a notification.

Expected Results

No notification should be sent to MS Teams since in first scenario there is no notification scheme and in the second scenario Notification scheme set does not allow Notifications to be sent.

Actual Results

MS Team receives notifications for both scenarios.
 

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
