Working with rich text fields in Jira Expressions can be awkward due to inconsistencies when working with custom fields and system fields (e.g. Description, Environment). In addition to this, different rich text field formats (wiki markup-text or ADF) may be exposed at different times, making it difficult to write consistently compatible expressions. 

It would be good if there was better handling in Jira Expressions so that users could work with different formats consistently.
