If the Text/Content is too long on Description, it's lost without being able to recover it

      Issue Summary

      If you try to add content to the Description field and it ends up being too long, Jira will return an error and close the field, making you lose all the content you had added.

      This issue has been identified as a duplicate of another existing bug JRACLOUD-93281. 

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Start adding content to the Description field;
      2. Once the content is too long, the below error will be returned and the field will be closed from its editing.

      Expected Results

      Jira should not only return the error but keep on editing so that the users can copy the content somewhere else - as previously it worked.

      Actual Results

      The error is returned - which is also not a clear error message - and the field is closed, causing the users to lose all the content thy had added to the field.

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
