When editing the Summary of a child issue in the edit view, clicking the parent issue in the navigation breadcrumbs while the field is still in edit mode, it will navigate to the Parent Issue and update its Summary with the edited Child Summary.

      Issue Summary

      When editing the Summary of a child issue in the edit view, clicking the parent issue in the navigation breadcrumbs while the field is still in edit mode, it loads the parent issue with Summary field in Edit mode, containing the previous issue's Summary value.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Locate an issue with a child issue.
      2. Click on the child issue 
      3. While viewing issue on main screen (not in popup), click on Summary field.
      4. Input Summary field changes. Do not save or navigate out of the field.
      5. Click on the parent issue in the breadcrumb navigation at the top of the summary
      6. Notice that parent issue is loaded, but summary field is in edit mode with previous issue's summary value.

      Expected Results

      Issues when loaded should be in view mode.

      Actual Results

      Issue is loaded with Summary in edit mode, if the previous issue was in edit mode.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
