      Issue Summary

In the Issue search, we have the ability to scroll through and list all the Jira issues. We can also click on an issue to view its details. However, when we use the "return to search" button, the page takes us back to the top of the search results instead of returning to the position of the last issue we opened.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to the issue navigator "https://<yoursite>.atlassian.net/issues"
      2. Search for the issues
      3. When the list of issue is long, scroll down to the issue you want to open
      4. In the issue screen click on
      5.

      Expected Results

      • After returning to the issue list, the page should reset to the previous position where the last issue was click

      Actual Results

      • The issue navigator page is reloaded and starts from the first issue in the list.

      Workaround

Instead of clicking the issue to open in the same browser tab,

      • right click and and open the issue in the new tab.
      • cmd/ctrl + click to open in the new tab
