In the previous version of the Jira workflow editor, users had the ability to easily view workflows and export them for documentation, backup, or sharing purposes. These functionalities are notably absent in the new workflow editor, impacting users who rely on these features for efficient workflow management.

Integrate the following functionalities into the new workflow editor:

View Option:

Provide a dedicated view mode that allows users to see the complete workflow in a read-only format. This feature would enable users to easily review and verify the workflow without the risk of making accidental changes.

Export Workflow Option:

Introduce an export feature that allows users to export the workflow for purposes such as documentation, sharing with stakeholders, or importing into other systems.

Transition Description

Provide a description field for transitions, so Jira Admins may document/comment details regarding the transition use case and/or behavior, for proper future maintenance.
