• We can't add a parent issue without including the project key, we want to set only the numbers of the issue and not the project key.

 
Example: 

1. If we have a parent issue ABC-123;
2. We want to associate with TST-1;
3. If we access the TST-1 issue and the parent field, we must add the ABC-123 issue.
4. If we try to search this issue by using 123, the parent issue will not appear.
